Chester Cathedral Choristers’ Association

On the following pages you can find information on our activities, current and past, along with an opportunity to join the Association if you were a member of any of the Cathedral’s Choirs or pupil of the former Chester Cathedral Choir School.

Here’s the link to the Reunion day Evensong. Our numbers were better than expected, and we had a positive and productive AGM. We even had a member join us from Texas!

Thanks to those who sang at the memorial at 11:00 and thanks to Philip Rushforth and the choir for the wonderful singing at Evensong. We would like to welcome Canon Rosie Woodall to the Association as one of our Vice-Presidents!

Perhaps next year we will see more members joining us on this day. The Association was originally created to remember the choristers who gave their lives in the two World Wars which is why it’s held on the nearest Saturday to Remembrance Day.

We want to provide our members with memorable events and can only do that with your support!

To join us click on the Contact us/ Contact form link on the menu bar above. When you fill in the form, could you remember to provide your name, address, phone number and the years you attended the school.

We are now on Facebook. Please visit us on our Facebook page.

If you have any old photographs from your time at the Choir School, or know of anyone else who may have, please contact us and we will be delighted to include them on the image page.
